And so we round out our final day of week 1 with a look at the Turret boys! What are they up to? Oh, you know, the usual -- going to work, playing games, getting a new roomie. . .

Oh yeah, I was so sick of what was happening with Lucy I decided SOMETHING was going to happen to SOMEBODY and made a new Sim to live with Steve & Gary. Technically I can do this because not all of my RP characters are accounted for -- I have two RP Victors (well, three if you count my newish tumblr one). I didn't make another Victor, though, that would just be confusing. Instead, I took someone from Steve & Gary's own loose canon. . .

Okay, that wasn't too bad, wasn't it? Next time is the Leeches, and this time we should be able to give Lucy a birthday! Finally, trading some of these kids for teenagers -- that's when the interesting stuff will happen.

Well well, back again I come, with an update about my favorite adorable kid Sim. You don't want to hear me blather on about why this updates come with such large gaps (blame tumblr), so let's get right into it:

Hopefully that was enjoyable -- I always have plenty of pictures for this lot, at least. Up next, whenever that is, are the Liddells! And possibly a hobby lot visit, depending on if Cheshire has a card or not. . . .

Aaand I make you wait again. Sorry about that -- it's just that someone brought to my attention that some of my pictures have vanished. Oddly enough, all the pictures from each family's Wednesday update (barring Doc here) have gone away. O.o I've been poking around looking for the best way to fix it -- maybe I'll just reupload the pictures to Imageframe later (that's what I use) and then poke around for a better solution. For now, let's finish off Emmett's first semester as a senior, shall we?

Oh look at that, it's been exactly two months since I updated. I don't know how many people actually read this that don't also read my personal LJ, but for anyone who does, here's a quick explanation. Remember how I said I was taking some time off to play "Alice: Madness Returns?"

Well, that was broken up by my having to send my computer off TWICE for repairs.

Yeah, I actually didn't have my computer through much of July. For some reason, it started turning itself off (as in, going straight to black screen and no power) while I was in the middle of stuff. Specifically, when I was playing Alice, then when I tried to run virus scans, then finally if I happened to leave my MP3 player plugged in while it went to standby. First I sent the thing to Best Buy, and when that didn't fix the problem, direct to Samsung. (Incidentally, it took me five or six tries to get an E-MAILED UPS label from them. To anyone who has a Samsung that needs servicing, DO NOT bother with the e-mail system. Skip directly to calling them.) Anyway, the computer seems okay now, but a consequence of getting the problem fixed was having to wipe my system and reinstall Windows. I have full back-ups of all my neighborhoods, including Inkwell Secundus -- right now, it's just a matter of rebuilding my Downloads folder.

So yeah, hopefully I'll be able to resume updates sometime in the near future. Keep your fingers crossed that blackout problem is fixed!

And it's time for another update! (I'm trying to complete a cycle before A:MR comes out and I disappear again.) I promised you excitement with Lucy, and -- well, I can't deliver on the excitement I THOUGHT I'd have, but she did do a bit more than the others. So let's get to it!

Perhaps not the most gripping update you've ever seen, but hey, at least something happened, right? Let's hope we can say the same for the Turret update when it happens. See you then!

So, two weeks to go before "Alice: Madness Returns" comes out. And I give Alice and her family an update that consists of only 14 pictures.

I'm sorry, they're just not doing all that much! Next cycle, I'm sending people off to community lots again. (A couple families have hobby lot cards, actually. . .maybe I should investigate that.) In any case, please enjoy what's available:

Oh haiz, I'm back. Let's see if we can get at least another cycle of my Simlets completed before "Alice: Madness Returns" comes out and I'm once again distracted away from the game. Okay, yeah, a not particularly interesting update this time. But considering you got two pretty large updates from EMMETT BROWN, TECHNO-WARLOCK before I went and played AMA, I think a shorter update is warranted. Don't worry, though, I'm sure the Van Dorts will be a little more interesting. Scraps has got to be housetrained, after all. . . .

It's time once again to drop in on EMMETT BROWN, TECHNO-WARLOCK! I had planned for this to be a double update going through all of his Junior year (both a) because I had double updates for all the other families at the beginning and b) I want him in the neighborhood proper already), but -- well, I made the mistake of actually DOING stuff with him. So we're gonna have two relatively normal updates in a row instead. First up, Semester 1!
