Liddell Family, Saturday, Week 1

So, two weeks to go before "Alice: Madness Returns" comes out. And I give Alice and her family an update that consists of only 14 pictures.
I'm sorry, they're just not doing all that much! Next cycle, I'm sending people off to community lots again. (A couple families have hobby lot cards, actually. . .maybe I should investigate that.) In any case, please enjoy what's available:

The day starts out on the right foot, at least. Cheshire quickly best friends not only Henry. . .

But Lorina as well! Guess they've truly taken this Wonderlander into their hearts, aww.

While this is happening, Alice is happily playing with the other feline member of the family. Like Victor, she has a bit of an obsession with the new pet.
Alice: Hey, Dinah's a great cat! We'll never need to worry about mice again!
You never did in the first place!

After breakfast, the adults get to skilling. Henry uses Cheshire's easel to gain some Creativity, and eventually sell a $5 painting. Baby steps!

While Lorina and Cheshire bond further over chess.
Cheshire: Oh, I knew they had to award me a hobby card eventually. It wasn't like they could keep a creature like me out of their little club anyway.

Alice, meanwhile, decides to indulge in her Film & Literature hobby and reads a children's book on -- an apple in gold paint? A gold worm eating an apple? I need another hint here, game.

Cheshire heads to work, and Lorina gets sewing. After yet another potholder, she gets her Bronze badge at last! (Of course, the symbol doesn't pop up so I can get a picture. . .) Her new project?

A "Little Bear Boo!" Isn't it precious? And fortunately no one's yet tried to annoy the crap out of me by talking through it.

Alice decides to give up on children's books that make no sense and instead sinks her teeth into Cheshire's Gaming magazine. Looking for riddles?
Alice: Actually. . . .

Alice: I'm far more interested in the article on chess. They have some lovely things to say about the White Knight.
I'm sure they do.

As the day wears on, Alice calls up Lucy for a chat. About chatting. I suppose, given who this is, it's very appropriate to be meta. She quickly makes pals and rolls up the want to be friends with Victor -- locked!

Cheshire, meanwhile, is back from his day at work -- he broke a coffee machine after eating some blue licorice and had to fork over $127, but he also got promoted to Lab Assistant, so he essentially broke even -- and making pals with Dinah. You feline types gotta stick together, eh?
Cheshire: Oh, hardly. But it never pays to have an enemy in one's one home.

Henry takes over the phone and calls one Patrick Das to talk politics. I'm actually not sure how he knows this guy -- previous update? Wandering around a community lot on automatic while I played another family? Ah, hell, he and Cheshire will need friends for their jobs, so whatever.

And then everyone hit the sack, so here's a picture of Dinah looking very content as she scratches the hell out of her scratching post.
Damn, just realized -- I forgot to buy Alice her mirror. Maybe I'll save it for her birthday. Up next are the Garfunkles, who may not do anything more interesting but at least should get more pictures.
