McFly Family, Thursday, Week 1

ink_sec_simsHooray, this is the week where I don't have to deal with toddlers anymore! Nothing against toddlers, mind, but sometimes you just want the kids out of the house. First up is our friend Marty McFly!
We open with Lorraine and Linda desperately trying this homework thing one more time.
UNHOLY GOD, LINDA ACTUALLY LEARNED HOW TO STUDY! I'd almost given up hope here!
Yeeks -- the toddler may be getting clean, but the bathtub sure ain't. That's disgusting.
What happened most of today -- George was at work, Dave and Linda at school, and these two were exhausted. Thursdays are boring around here.
Uh, Dave, I don't think your Mom really cares all that much that you got an A+.
But hey, good for you! Now if only we can pull off a similar feat with your sister.
Lorraine goes from mildly red to platinum Aspirationally by FINALLY making best friends with one of her older children. Lorraine, I need to get you a hobby. Or at least someone else to talk to.
This is Juan, who came home with Dave from school. They promptly get to chess playing and talking music. "So, have you heard the latest record from Miss Heterodyne?"
George comes home, healed of his flu. He celebrates by spinning his daughter dangerously close to the foundation.
More best friendship. Maybe today's theme is the McFlys becoming a closer family unit.
Juan demonstrates the chest pound to a confused Dave. I guess Juan is an exchange student or something from one of the vacation hoods.
It's coming up to six o'clock -- time to grow this kidlet up! Everyone cheers wildly because they can still get cake despite me cutting it close.
Awww, that's actually pretty cute. Happy birthday, kid.
Our last glimpse of toddler Marty. . . .
And our first glimpse of kid Marty! Who -- rather desperately needs a haircut. XD
Er -- Marty, you really didn't have to RUN to the table with your cake.
Marty: I wanted to make sure I got the first slice!
As we now have three roughly full-sized kids running around the place, I decided they really needed another bathroom. They're down to only $340, but I think it's worth it to have a second toilet in the house.
Marty thinks his haircut is the funniest thing ever. Better than booing, I guess.
Interesting -- GEORGE has made best friends with all three of his kids before Lorraine, despite interacting with them less (both Dave and Linda had lower daily relationship with him, but higher lifetime relationship). Maybe Lorraine's trying too hard.
Marty, wanting to know his big brother and sister better, talks travel with Dave. "Your new friend is from the mountains? Does he know Bigfoot?"
As everybody slowly drifts to bed, Marty plays with blocks. He's a cute little kid, really. Though his clothes are gonna stick out for a while, unless I can get some more cash into the coffers. Hmmm.

Oh god, that haircut. I hate that haircut so hard. It always comes back to haunt me when a kid transitions to childhood.
Funny how Lorraine has so much trouble making friends with her kids. Maybe she's pre-Back to the Future Lorraine: grumpy and bitter.

I know! Why does practically every toddler hairdo result in it! Besides, since I used to use that hairstyle for my Sim Docs (I only recently found the custom one that actually looks like his real hair), I automatically think of him, regardless of the Sim.
LOL, maybe. At least I don't have a bar for her to get drunk at.
