ink_sec_sims It's still under construction, but we have a Doc icon and a backlog of Doc pictures, so why don't we have an update?
Doc's digs at the moment are a room at the Temporis Dorm in Academie Le Tour. This is the smallest dorm that comes in the lot bin -- I don't like dealing with a lot of dormies. (Or their arcade machines *wince*)
The man himself! Doc's got custom hair, clothes, and goggles (though the hair's properly binned so he's a natural blond as far as the game's concerned). His vital stats:

Zodiac Sign: Pisces
Primary/Secondary Aspiration: Knowledge/Family

Doc's very first action upon arriving at Temporis Dorm? Going to paint. And interestingly enough, this turns out to be his One True Hobby (OTH)! I think this is the fastest I've ever discovered a Sims OTH.
One of the dormies Doc shares his life with. I had to get a picture of this guy because a) he's the weirdest looking, b) he has the weirdest name: Irfan Wilkie.
Doc does not hold Irfan's weirdness against him and joins in with the studying. "So, how does everyone like the sunny weather we've been having?"
"Eh. I've always liked rain better." Here's all the dormies together -- besides Doc and Irfan, they are Brenda Clark (the redhead), Joanne Darga (the black-haired girl), and Stephan Charvat (the black-haired guy).
Doc's attempt to get some Tinkering enthusiasm doesn't go well. For some reason, the "repair" option never came up on the shower, but Tinkering with it again fixed it. ??
"Yeah, I think college is gonna be a cool experience. . . ." Okay, yeah, I included this one mainly because it looked naughty. XD Doc actually finds Joanne here attractive, but her picture doesn't have any bolts, so. . . .
"I've never been good at public speaking. . . ." Doc practices his Charisma. I forget if this was before or after he switched his major to Physics.
I love how they literally pat themselves on the back when they finish a term paper. Anyway, the paper plus an assignment got Doc's grade up to the maximum, so I decided to send him out for some fun.
I had him walk on over to Loungarama Leisureland. I was thrilled to see that girl at the pool table -- she's a Secret Society member, and one of my goals for this Doc is to get him into that. (I'm trying to do things other than study/skill/sleep with my Sims all the time.)
Doc plays some pool with her and a couple of other dormies. It was about then that I discovered this particular neighborhood really likes odd names. Not only is there Irfan, one of Doc's professors is Prof. Pong King, and someone around here (I sadly forget which guy in particular) is Hyun Louie.
Secret Society girl has the more ordinary name of Veronica Haggerty. She shares Doc's enthusiasm for travel, but thinks his art hobby sucks.
I decide to have Doc scope the room for possible dates. He decides a certain red-head by the name of Asia Trottier is hot. I am disturbed not only by her name, but also by the fact I'm pretty sure her counterpart in Twin Oaks Park's Academie is dating that Doc's nephew Keith.
Doc plays some pinball, despite his fun bar being practically full. Oh, Sims. . .
It does get Asia to notice him, though.
They hang out for a while, me figuring Doc could use a friend if nothing else. No bolts have appeared on her picture either, so his attraction can't have been very strong. (Of course, he's attracted more to skills than looks, so finding a mate for him might be tricky.)
Back at the dorm, Doc and Stephan share a meal. Doc generally gets along well with his roommates. Maybe because his dorm room is locked so they can't just drop in on him.
More Tinkering -- this must be when he fixed the shower.
Doc finishes off his first painting. I think he got four simoleons for it.
Doc and Stephan share a game of chess. After all that focus on Creativity, I wanted Doc to get some Logic points.
Hi friendly streaker! Maybe I'll have Doc interact with you just for the lulz.
After a shower, Doc heads out on foot again, this time to King's Music Hall (passing a dormie named Ocean Hanby on the way). Once he got there -- I got a little mindfucked. The Secret Society member and the guy in the tracksuit should both be recognizable to readers ofrevison_doc -- there, they're Linda's boyfriend Nery and Emily's husband Sabastian Shaw! Here, though, the SS member is Hyun Curtin (WTF) and the dormie is Alan Butler. Maybe I should have associated Sim State instead. . . .
Not-Nery may not like Doc's views on justice, but any talk of college gets him all excited.
Another Secret Society member! Doc manages to drag her away from the instruments long enough to learn her name is Karen Greaves. That's Irfan in the background being a jerk to the remaining musicians.
LUCKIEST BREAK EVER. I didn't know the witches even CAME to college lots! And Doc managed to catch her right before she left. Our Infallibly Good Head Witch is named Rosemaire Ngai (seriously, game?). This Doc has all the luck with meeting everyone he should.

More fun with the Tinkering hobby. I really need to have him just study Mechanical so he doesn't keep breaking the shower. Thank God it doesn't spew puddles for some reason.
Anyway, shortly after that was his final -- an A+ and a nice grant. I bought him his own easel. :p We'll see what Freshman 2 brings!
