Lorean1981 Family, Temporary Placement

ink_sec_simsThis is just a quick post to explain something. Inkwell Secundus is a minihood (a shopping district for Desiderata Valley, to be precise) for all my RP characters. However, you may have noticed that, while everyone else I play is either a human teenager or adult, I have three characters that pose a problem -- Dee, the DeLorean turned little girl, and Steve & Gary, the "Portal" turrets. Now, Steve & Gary were fairly easy to fix -- I'd always planned on them to have adult human forms, so I just designed them for their family. Dee, however. . . .
Dee needed a temporary family -- my plan was to get her into the adoption pool so Doc could later adopt her. So here we have Dee and John Lorean1981. I later added the pets Dinah and Scraps (Alice's cat and Victor's dog, respectively) to the family so I could sink them into the adoption pools as well. I moved them into a tiny little house on the smallest lot, then stuck a barbecue and some extra chairs in the kitchen and told John to go make hot dogs.
This, of course, was the result. Yes, I am a cruel mistress, but John WAS a bit of a jerk to Dee earlier, so maybe that mitigates it slightly?
Eventually, he died, and everyone gathered around to mourn. Well, around the door, anyway -- I'd specifically locked it so Dee wouldn't risk being toasted.
The Social Worker showed up for Dee not long after -- along with the welcome wagon of George McFly, Nell Van Dort, and Lorina Liddell. Awkward.
Dee's taken off to the orphanage, and the cop shows up to claim Scraps and Dinah. I learn from thought bubbles George thinks Lorina is hot, but thinks Nell is disgusting. :p Then everyone departs, and I save and exit, leaving behind only an urn and a cheap house for a starting sim (once they clean up all the ashes, that is).
Hopefully this will be the only bit of gruesomeness for these Sims for a while. (Henry and Lorina Liddell better pray it is, anyway.)
