Liddell Family, Wednesday, Week 2
Okay. So. This is a relatively short update, and yet it contains a change to the Liddell family that may mean clusterfucks from now on. Shall we get to it?
Average Liddell morning -- Lorina sewing up more curtains, Henry entertaining the cat.
Having two adults in this house go to work before she heads to school and the remaining adult pregnant and sleeping means Alice gets to do the chores they'd normally do.
Lorina is a sewing addict -- to the point that a persistent want of hers today was "buy a sewing machine."
Yes, apparently one's not enough for her.
Lorina either slept or sewed all day, so let's cut to the moment when everybody else came home.
Cheshire's scored himself a promotion! He's a Project Leader now -- and he's earned $5,000 over the course of his life. Of course, given Sim paychecks, that's actually not very hard to do.
Cheshire: Let me have my moment of glory.
Awww. This despite the fact you probably saw him at school at some point today.
Alice: He's my dad -- and as you're so fond of reminding me, he's supposed to be dead.
Good point.
More adorableness, courtesy of Alice having Victor over. Seriously, these two make me squee so hard.
Best friendship achieved! Victor and Alice may now transition to teenagers in excellent moods.
A little Mary Mack to finish off the visit. I'm going to miss you two as adorable-as-fuck children. . .but on the other hand, I am so looking forward to finally getting you two romantically involved.
It looks like such an average day, doesn't it? A day nothing could go wrong on. . .
Alice jumps rope, I remember she has an Active personality and wonder why I waited so long to get her started on Body skill.
No time for that now, though -- the baby's coming!
Henry: Why does she have to scream so loud?
Alice: Where's the baby going to come out of? Our voice in the sky doesn't have the special mods.
Lorina: BOTH OF YOU SHUT UP OR SO HELP ME GOD
Henry & Cheshire: Pregnant women annoy us for some reason!
Lorina: I'll show you annoyed! *pant pant*
And it's -- a boy! Guess we're not getting Lizzie after all. Ah well, maybe it's for the best. The last Lizzie Liddell didn't have such a great life.
So yes, you two are now the proud parents of a bouncing baby --

TWINS?! SERIOUSLY, TWINS?!
Yes, Lorina thought it appropriate to gift this family with twin boys. *headdesk* Considering how small their house really is and how much money they don't have. . .
Both their cribs at least fit into the green baby cave, though I had to put the changing table in their own room. Also, Lorina got her second sewing machine just so she'd have some aspiration points.
Quickly apparent which twin is going to be the favorite in this family.
I suppose I should introduce you to the new family members. This one is Arthur, named after Alice's father in "Alice: Madness Returns" (or, more accurately, the Storybook app that preceded the game, which gives his name). He has black hair and blue eyes.
And this one is Edward, who is named after one of the historical Alice's real brothers -- I think. *looks it up* Huh -- there's a Harry, an Eric, a Lionel, and -- an Arthur! Who died young, I believe. But no Edward? Could have sworn. . .
Oh, wait, HARRY'S Edward -- he apparently went by his middle name. Okay then, I'm good. Anyway, Edward has black hair and green eyes. This will hopefully be useful in telling them apart.
And we end on Lorina studying Parenting, because DAMN do I need that skill with twins. FUCKING TWINS.
Incidentally, Lorina now has a want to have 10 children.
HAHAHAHA no.
So -- yeah. That'll be fun. I'm suddenly very glad to get over to the Garfunkles.
