McFly Family, Monday + Tuesday, Week 1
Time for another chapter in the saga of Inkwell Secundus! And hey, today we're actually on the island, as we look at: The McFlys!

Here's the happy family. Of course, everyone's got custom clothes (this is a vaguely steampunk hood, after all), but that's it for custom stuff. Some vital stats:
George:

Primary/Secondary Aspiration: Knowledge/Popularity
Lifetime Want: Become City Planner
Turn-Ons/Turn-Off: Underwear, Brown Hair/Facial Hair
OTH: Tinkering
Career: Science
Lorraine:

Zodiac Sign: Libra
Primary/Secondary Aspiration: Family/Popularity
Lifetime Want: Have 6 Grandchildren
Turn-Ons/Turn-Off: Formal Wear, Black Hair/Robots
OTH: Nature
Career: None
Dave:
Personality: 5 Sloppy/Neat, 6 Outgoing, 5 Lazy/Active, 3 Serious, 6 Nice
Zodiac Sign: Cancer
Primary/Secondary Aspiration: Fortune/Knowledge
Lifetime Want: Become Space Pirate
Turn-Ons/Turn-Off: Hard Worker, Logical/Fatness
OTH: Music & Dance
Career: Teen School
Linda:
Personality: 4 Sloppy, 7 Outgoing, 1 Lazy, 8 Playful, 5 Grouchy/Nice
Zodiac Sign: Taurus
Primary/Secondary Aspiration: Grow-Up
Lifetime Want: Not Applicable
Turn-Ons/Turn-Off: Not Applicable

Career: Child School
Marty:

Zodiac Sign: Aquarius
Primary/Secondary Aspiration: Grow-Up
Lifetime Want: Not Applicable
Turn-Ons/Turn-Off: Not Applicable
OTH: Nature
Career: None
Home: 9 Autumn Way

Their house! They live at 9 Autumn Way. The one bathroom will get problematic, yes, but it was the only one I could find that had enough bedrooms. (I didn't feel like building houses here, especially after finding already-perfect ones for the Liddells and Van Dorts).

Everyone pretty much starts off skilling -- the girls learn how to cook, Marty draws, and Dave paints. This is when I learn Linda's OTH is Cuisine.

Marty and Linda at the kiddie play table. This thing attracts them like a magnet. Can't complain, though, they're learning lots of skills.

Linda and Dave chat, because for some reason Linda has a slightly negative view of her older brother. Which, when you think about it, isn't all that inaccurate to the movie. :p

I make Lorraine be a good mom to Marty. All of her wants revolve around Dave and Linda. -.-;

Kiddie drawings! I love Linda's alligator. This table is the best.

More skilling while George has some food. Though I want him eventually to go into journalism, to get the family some money he's currently in the Science career track. Lorraine's not working at the moment because someone has to stay and look after the kids.

George starts Marty on learning to talk. They get pretty far before needs force them to stop. And this is without Smart Milk!

A family dinner, more or less. I'm exploiting both Lorraine's ability to cook Grandma's Comfort Soup and the leftovers option on the fridge for all they're worth. Also Linda's little oven -- hey, it helps her fulfill her hobby, right?

Tuesday brings with it the first day of fall. Marty plays on his little xylophone and earns more creativity.

Although most of the McFly family is suffering aspiration-wise, Linda's wants have been pretty easy to fulfill. As a result, the family has Smart Milk! Lorraine luckily makes a good bottle, and, thanks partially to the good head start of the other day, Marty quickly learns to talk.

He's also potty-trained very quickly -- hooray for Smart Milk and fall's skill-boosting!

Most of the day, the older kids are at school and George is at work. Marty naps and plays with his toys while Lorraine paints. Dave comes home at one with a friend, Gavin Newson. They make proper pals over chess.

What the -- Nell Van Dort? What are you doing here?

. . . For God's sake, Nell, I haven't even properly played your lot yet. Don't make me hate you already.

And off she goes, just barely avoiding Dave's "Yell At."

The McFlys don't let it get them down -- George got a promotion to Lab Assistant, after all. He celebrates by helping Dave with his homework.

Lorraine attempts to do the same for Linda, but the latter's exhaustion makes them stop before they can properly start. *sigh*

Dave's now in gold aspiration, so he can safely give Marty some Smart Milk.

George takes the opportunity to teach Marty to walk while Dave satisfies his Music & Dance urges. Interestingly, I only found about Linda's OTH directly -- everyone else's was indirect. Turns out you get that glow around the bubbles if a family member does something that relates to another's OTH.

Marty can walk! Only the nursery rhyme left to teach now.

This shot is technically from Wednesday, but I'm putting it in to show poor stinky Marty finally getting a bath. The McFlys used George's first paycheck to buy the bath/shower combo so they could clean the toddler.
More families coming up soon!
