Garfunkle Family, Wednesday, Week 1

Our journeys around the island of Inkwell Secundus take us now to the Garfunkles. Who don't have a particularly lot going on in this update, to be honest. But we did get somebody out of the house, so. . . .

Our day begins with breakfast for the boys and Amanda starting Carey on walking lessons.

Now it's time for double essential skilling! Mandy continues to handle walking lessons while Sam helps Simon with his homework.

Success on all fronts! And at roughly the same time too.

Simon's feeling a little fun-deprived, so I delay him getting on the bus long enough for his dad to swing him around a bit. Hell, it satisfies a want too, so why not?

ImageFra.me
The adults are feeling fun-deprived too -- time for red hands. Allow me to note here that I love the gloves on Amanda's outfit.

Both Amanda and the baby have to hit the sheets, leaving Sam free to hit the pavement. This is the First Church of Steam, my official community wedding lot. It's also a location from my latest NaNo project, "Secundus." It's a crossover between BTTF, Corpse Bride, and "American McGee's Alice" set in a steampunk world. That's why all the mains have Victorian-esque clothing -- Inkwell Secundus, get it?

Hey, Cheshire's here! Along with Gary Turret, with whom he seems to be forming a pretty close bond. Surprise or not?

ImageFra.me
Anyone else disturbed at how much Sims like to talk about woohoo? Or how enthusiastic everyone gets during said talks?

ImageFra.me
Sam compliments Cheshire on his lovely custom skin.

I send Sam over to watch the human statue I put on the lot for some reason. Sam prefers to think about posters.

ImageFra.me
I didn't get a proper shot, but the human statue just freaked the hell out of Sam here.

ImageFra.me
Sam takes it in good humor. Perhaps too much good humor. O.o

Back home, toddler and mommy are awake and making best friends. Much like the McFlys, though, Amanda's main want is to be best friends with Simon, so this doesn't net her any Aspiration points. -.-

ImageFra.me
Simon brings home another friend -- and it's Lucy Leech! :D I'm excited because my RP versions have mutual crushes on each other, so Sim!Simon and Sim!Lucy are going to be one of the official couples of the island.

ImageFra.me
They get along very well, even if (unseen here) Simon's hygiene has bottomed out so he stinks to high heaven. "Sumo wrestlers are funny!"

ImageFra.me
A good game of catch is good for the fun meter, if not Simon's chances of not smelling like old socks for the rest of the day. He in fact does continue to stink throughout the rest of the day, mostly because he's also bored and exhausted and those needs come first.

ImageFra.me
All that catch starts to risk overheating Simon, so it's time for a quick game of Mary Mack before Lucy heads home. They're so cute together. :D

ImageFra.me
While this is going on, Carey's made best friends with Sam. Again, though, Sam's wants revolve around Simon. *facepalm* What is it with my Sims and not caring about their toddlers?

ImageFra.me
Oh hey, the ending toddler bathing pic! You've all missed that, right?

Also got a new name for the bunch, if I haven't mentioned it already: Luc King. Try saying it together fast. :p Next up is Lucy's family -- where shall they go, where shall they go. . .
